Could this be enough to squeak me into the 9's?

Hey guys, I'm just curious if you think this setup would be enough to squeak me into the 9's on a dedicated drag wheel/tire combo?

I'm currently running just a set of M/T ET Street R's, so I doubt that's going to get me there. Also, what do you guys estimate traps will be? Don't know DA, am located in central IL, so we can get decent DA during the cooler months around here.

FAST 102 also ported by Tooley
FLT Level IV Trans
Circle D 5C (4-4200)
MWC Rear/Suspension 3.89
Racetronix 255/hotwire
36 LB injectors.
Nitrous Outlet hardline kit, going to spray 150
Probably going to be about 3600 lb raceweight

I think it would get ya there if you spray out of the whole or close. 9.8 @ 135 mph+ with a pretty good 60'

You shouldn't have an issue getting into the 9's I have just an identical set up and I ran a 9.87 on the limiter when I went through the traps

Great, thanks guys, I'm hopeful. It's a winter build, so I won't know until next spring.

Can I ask what you trapped, and what your DA and Raceweight were?

Im hoping to head into the nines with a pretty similar set up to you. No heads(just untouched 243s) but im about 400lbs lighter than you.

DA was around 800. Trap sucked because my nitrous cut out a little ways before the stripe. But it was 133mph I think. Race weight of 3400

On a stock LQ4 with a smaller cam (228/232 .600/.600" 112+2), 243's, FAST 92 and 200 shot on Nitrous Outlet Plate system at 3650lbs with me in the car and a 4l60e with 3500 stall converter I went 10.28 at Atco in NJ. This was a couple of years ago.

I'm curious what you'll run. Before I busted my transmission & I took a hiatus from the car scene this was the exact combo I was looking to run. Even have the same converter size just with the 5E as I was gonna be NA haha. I think you can get there or damn close as other similar setups with lessor heads from my memory were bottom 10s, assuming suspension is fairly dialed in and they can hook and DA is good.
