yes,... a turbo and a split fuel system that you can run pump gas and turn on race gas at a moments notice.

That’s too complicated.

Haha, some would say running 9s in general is rather complicated as well.

who cares about A/C?????

I dont.. never used it so it was ditched a long time ago.....
Power steering is the same and the battery is in the back.
Turbo sits where it once resided......
None of those things make a car a D/D

OFI kit retains stock acc and has the potential to run a t6 turbo...

does where the requirements i needed since it gets hot here in miami. However, the humidity is the real killer and no a/c means sweaty shorts and fogged windows when it rains...

Yeah we daily drive ours. During the cool air racing months we limit the miles because I have a race mod and a daily driver mode. It's mainly the dual XR1s and the race seat, but swapping araound a lot is a time consuming pain. We are running all motor. I could leave the car in daily driver mode and spray a 100 shot be deep into the 9s, but we bracket and index race so staying NA is our preference.

This is also why we maintained the 4L60E. I can't imagine putting the miles we do on the car without an OD. That would get old quick.

No fogged windows here

A turbo would be real sweet though. Something about an LS1 spooling up. Ya gotta love it!

If you get the right 4L60E the first time, you will save a lot of time and money, not to mention the piece of mind. Theirs only a few that have them mastered though.

NOS4ever.... you might want to take a peak at SpeedInc's street twin turbo set up. they have log style turbo headers that reatain a/c, power steering, and give great access to the spark plugs.

the kit will make 800+ horsepower with stock cubes, a mild cam, and be completely streetable.
