Any Two bolt main LT1's out there? If you have a two bolt main LT1, and you are running these times, please post your times and horsepower.... just trying to prove a point. |
thought about it but decided to add the fours.. |
answered p.m. yes, two bolt main and cast crank. 9.91 best e.t. 140 best mph. although, not the same pass. |
Your taking a big gamble with a 2-bolt with that kind of power. As much as I see 4-bolt caps walking at higher rpms, I can only imagine what a 2-bolt cap would do. :eek2: |

don't recall all specifics The motor was nothing special, but just done right. I wanted a 9 second car and the first pass on a 200 shot went 10.009. I exploded the Opti that pass and the car shut off a tad early. 383 approx 12:1 comp Eagle H-Beams Eagle Crank Flat tops ARP Mains LT1 head 2.02/1.57 w/Felpro 1074's LT1 intake port matched Mild SR low 250's duration Comp 1.6 rockers Comp Rocker stud girdle 58 BBK TB SLP CAI w/stock MAF Mild SR low 250's duration Hooker 1 3/4 LT'1 Custom Y Mufflex 4" catback Th400 w/4000 stall 9" 3.90 gear 28" ET Drag The car had no A/C/Heat, Corbeau Forza's, full cage and suspension.
