Default Cam in my LT1

Thinking about camming my 94 LT1. It has 84k miles on it and is stock except for exhaust. I don't want to put a little LT4 hot cam in it because I want to put a decent sized one. How big do you think I could go and any suggestions?

A different cam isn't really a normal second modification...LT4 Hot cam can make good power also...I've seen it make 375rwhp on a mustang dyno with stock LT4 heads/intake.

CC306 is old school and sounds great. (230/244 duration)...

is this an auto or 6 speed? If it's an auto, you will need a good 3000-3600 rpm converter ALONG with a decent sized cam. If it's a stick, you might want to consider 3.73 or 4.10 gears along with the cam ...goodluck
