Building a motor Alright here is the deal.
Never built a gen 1 motor before so this is pretty new to me.
Got a 350 block to build and Im looking for some input.
I would like to make 475-500rwhp on motor... Is that a reachable goal?
Some requirements I have:
-Forged internals are a must as I want to spray it
-Higher compression, but would like to run on 93 pump gas
So I guess Im asking what parts will get me there... Heads, pistons, rods, crank, cam yada yada.
Do I need to go 383?
Spec me a build please...

Yep, that is the rotating assembly you need. The heads would be good if they are 230 CC for real high RPM power. A cam with 248/252 duration and around 600 lift would see 7000 RPM or so and make tons of power.

you better check the comp ratio with domed pistons and 64 cc heads. you be really close to race gas instead of pump gas if your not carefull. you don't need to get over 11.5:1 or you'll suffer on pump gas.
You are there, we have several of us that have done our own engine work and studied for years on what to do to make power and the best way to do it, some opinions vary but that is anywhere.
