SBC 350 in 96 Camaro....questions.. So I have been reading through some threads and just had a few questions. I am more than likely going to pick up a 96 Camaro this Saturday. My dad and I want to build a drag car out of it but want to stick a SBC 350 in it since we have one laying around back home.
I know it will bolt up to the LT1 K member, and with a little modifying it will fit, but, I want to COMPLETELY ditch all the factory wiring and computer system if I can.
Would it be better to replace all the gauges with autometer units or use the factory stuff? I'm basically buying a shell so I could start from scratch.
