Default v6 to 400 sbc help

Hey guys, im new here and after looking at all the camaro forums this looks like the best one by far. But anyways, like the title says im in the process of swapping my 99 v6 with a 400 sbc(its been bored 30 over so really a 406) and I was wondering what Cam you all would suggest?? This is still going to be street not drag, and its being built for red light to red light. I want it to sound mean. Thanks guys.

Can't help without knowing your compression, and your head casting numbers, at a minimum. Gearing, tire size, trans, converter stall if applicable, would all help.

There are about a dozen different things we need to know. Having a bunch of people on the internet that don't know anything should not be spec'ing you a cam.

Compression, cylinder heads, intake, exhaust setup. What's the car used for? Weight of the car. Transmission, gear ratio.

Street car not drag but you want it to sound mean and it is set up for stop light to stop light. Sounds just like drag racing to me.

Mild cams a long way. Im going for a 4x4 cam for the blazer.. Im reality I think stock cam is more than enough.> Put 5.7 rods in, stock heads with 9.5-1 and itll run well
