Do any of you guys run power valves?

No. But you do have to put a bigger cam and squirter on the accel pump circuit to eliminate the stumble. Also jet it up a couple of sizes.

Thanks for the input guys. I have been running a PV in the front with about 8-10 sizes less jet, a 33 squirter, and a 50cc accel pump. I toyed with the no PV idea last time out, I squared up the jets at 86's and the car ran fine, but felt alittle ragged at the starting line footbraking. I will probably run a PV for the summer with 74/84 jets, but may try running without one again this fall.

Since I don't know you I'll ask a question. What do you do with the car? If it's strictly a drag race car I would block off the power valve and up the jet sizes. But if it's street driven it's a different story.

Al 74 Camaro, 489 tall deck, PG, Dana 60.

Street or Strip, we never user P/V valves
