3rd gen camaro swap questions
Okay guys here's the deal i'm in the middle of swapping a gen 1 383 stroker into my friends 1992 camaro which had a 350 TPI motor. we got the old motor out and the new one in but the accessory bracket bolt holes don't line up at all. I was under the impression that being that his motor was a gen 1 sbc they would work just fine.
Any ideas?

Yea thats what i figured but now the problem is WHAT BRACKETS WILL WORK!
I know these heads are standard chevy pattern but i'm confused because when i asked over at thirgen.or(g) they told me that the 350's that came in those camaro's were also standard chevy bolt pattern.

If you have some time, go to a junk yard and see if they have a truck w/a 400 in it... Pull the brackets off of there (its NOT going to be a serp system btw) OR if you have the $$, call Summit and order a new bracket kit... You'll have to know which heads you have so they can order the right stuff!
