In most cases you will be around a 3.73 to a 4.10 gear. Depending if you plan to run all motor or spray it.

Are you sure that thing is going to make 500hp? I'd have to see the dyno sheet, but it really is about the sum of the parts. the engine torque range, converter, cars weight, DA where you are running. A 4:11 gear is good for the 1/4 mile with a 26-28" tire.
I have a pretty optimized bracket car, #3600, 500 hp at the flywheel and it has been 10.87, usually 10.90-11.0 in the heat at ~ 1200', with a DA all over the place. You could run that fast, but if I was to throw my bet in a hat I'd say 12.00, maybe 11.50. It really is anyone's guess until you get it to a track near you. Regardless, have fun with it and tell us how it runs.
And at Skip White says it is 470HP. so don't embellish numbers. I'd still want to see the dyno.

Look into some 430 gears and a 29-30 inch tire and you should be good for the 1/4. A trans brake would be a must as long as you have the suspension and tire to plant the launch.
Depending on the rear end, I'd say you would be looking at 370 or so at the rear wheels and depending on the weight, you should see 12 flat to mid 11's.
Again, there are still a lot of variables to give an accurate quarter mile time.
