Default Sbc billet distributor

My billet distributor was all corrode inside I clean it up with wd 40 and a wire brush but the car is running like a dog it keeps cutting out when I hit the gas pedal, do you guys think it's the magnetic pick up is causing this ,I have purchased a new pickup from jegs ,but it seems to me that you have to remove the distributor to fit it

Default Advance Weights

Hi, as a manufacturer of SBC distributors I could guess that your Advance Weights are frozen ?

The VR sensor should not be effected by the stated problem.

Default VR Measurement

Hi Berty, measure the VR sensor with an Ohm Meter.
Measure the Advance Weight travel by "twisting" the Rotor.
Measure Coil Voltage ???
