Default 305 and T-5 build

Greetings,
Since my car has a T-5 I am limited to about 300hp and 300lb-ft. I'm fine with that.
Will roller rockers, roller lifters, and a cam on the stock heads help me get there?
Is that enough, with headers and an intake manifold, to spin to 7000 rpm?

Those are my goals... 300hp, 300 lb-ft, and 7000rpm red line.

Thanks

You will also need some vortec or aftermarket heads along with a stout valve train. I don't know if the factory crank is up to 7k runs.

World Products makes a set of 58CC heads specific for 305's. They will boost your compression to about 10.5 to 11:1. I would go with a set of those, but honestly, replace the T-5 with a Tremec TKO600. You;ll never have to worry about Transmission issues again and you can build the heck out of the motor.
