How to make 400hp from a L20 4.8 Been Having trouble making more power from a 4.8 i know it’s a small engine but not planing on 6.0 swapping, maybe boost later on but for right now I’m running ls6 heads, CAI,tbss intake manifold,222/230 cam, tooly dual springs ,long tube headers, and tuned on 91 any suggestions on making more power.

If cheap is what your after just slap a N/X proton nitrous shark nozzle kit on it and jet it to 75hp. Summit Racing p/n nex-20421-10 it's 472$ that will get to your goal and then some for under 500 bucks.

Also go a step colder on plugs and gap a little tighter. You can always add on to it later down the road for more power.

Just noticed you posted this in small/big Bock section. Change/edit it to gen lll or whatever gen a L20 is you will get alot more action in your thread. Just saying .
