Where's the SPOUT connector????

I have a friend who just installed a 502ci marine motor with injection in a Willy's. We are trying to set the base timing on this motor. I believe the motor is a 2004 crate engine that comes complete with the ECM actually tucked up under the upper intake. Could a chevy expert please explain to me where the SPOUT connector is located on this type of setup? I am correct in assuming there is one right?

Thanks, Pat.

What exactly is a SPOUT connector and what is it's purpose??

SPOUT stands for spark output. Its a little plug that you have to remove so the computer no longer adds any timing to the motor. This way you can check the actual base timing with a timing light. This is the timing you adjust by twisting the distributor.

Got ya....... I understand now. You're trying to set initial timing and need to remove any computer control/advance. Sorry, I don't know where it would be. I'd call the dealership where it was bought. Surely they could lead ya in the right direction.
