I need a little info on what i need to do to get my 383 done. I just got back from Iraq and jumped into this project. My 96 yukon had a nasty bottom end knock so i got a 383 short block and planed to put my vortec heads and intake on it and drop it in the yukon. i need to know what cam and lifters to use(with old style block and vortec top end) and i need ideas on what to do about the crank sensor, will my old one work or do i need to fab one up? please help cause im in over my head...... thanks
