Default Carb'd 305 Comp.?

Im starting to build my carb'd 305. my ? is, can I ditch the computer, or at least not have it control the air/fuel on the motor? Its an 87. If that helps.
Im planning on gutting the whole car and turning it into a nitrous junkie. Streetability and gas mileage is not an issue. What are my options? Thanks in advance.

You will have to dump the dis. if you get rid of the compuer carb. A regular HEI dis. works great. This is what we did when we swaped out a 305 for a 350 in my friends 87 camaro.
