Default Winter project pics

Here's a few pics of the list of winter projects. Basically, new seats, carpet, replaced/repainted floor pan in rear 1/2, repainter rear end, new stainless brake lines front/rear, polished fuel cell, new front wheels, freshen short block, CNC port heads, freshen converter, and many other small things.

Here's the upgrades on the motor: CNC port Canfield heads (+40-50 cfm), .030" Cometic head gaskets (+1/2 point compression), new Cam Motion 7/4 swap solid roller, install lifter valley screens, Jesel belt drive, Mallory crank trigger, powder coat oil pan, install crank scraper, new MSA rod bolts, new rod/main bearings, clean/paint block, cleanup/port match intake manifold, 2-1/4 Hooker adjustable race headers.

Still have several interior pieces that need to be painted/dyed black, but thats going to have to wait for warmer weather.

Should have the heads back late this week and the motor back in the car soon after that. Can't wait to get back to the track to see what it's going to run now!

Wow! Clean as heck underneath the car. What are you looking for out of the motor now since you've done those upgrades?

I should pick up anywhere from 60 - 100 hp with everything combined. I figure it was making around 750 give or take before. Shooting for 8's all motor this season. Hopefully it'll atleast go 9-teens w/o much work.

You're right....I'll let you drive it in a parking lot like I did the kart!
Gotta wait till spring to finish re-doing some of the interior. I'm burnt out now anyway.

hey man, very nice car you've got there! i like the brackets i'm guessing you made for the kirkeys too. and last, i would not have noticed the 2 different color door panels had it not been for Proto X! LOL. any chance of getting a pic of the motor when completed? or better yet, a vid from the track would go nice in this thread.

Thanks. Yeah, I made the seat brackets. I'll post some pics of the completed motor if I ever get the heads back from Canfield. Their 2 wk lead time is now going on 6 wks. I'll get some video up soon too hopefully.

That definitely sucks. It should be worth it in the end though .
