Default Need Oil Pan Advise for SBC in a 94 Camaro

I have a BMR K-Member and a Bowtie SBC that needs an oil pan. The thing is that I am going with the Headers from Lemmons and I don't want to order a pan that will not fit with the headers. My question is..What do I need to do or is there a combo that you guys know about? Heads are 18* High Port Bowties which require 2" stepped to 2-1/8" headers.

Any info would be appreciated.

I'm running a stock oil pan on my 454 BBC and with a stock k-member and Hooker Headers 2455. The primaries are 2". I didn't have any problem with the oil pan hitting the headers. So I don't think you will have one if you go with a stock style SBC oil pan. I know that you may want to go aftermarket with more capacity but in my setup I was limited as to what I could do. Hope this helps some.

those heads "require" that big of a primary tube? what are your plans with the motor/car? i know mine does just fine with 1 7/8" primary tubes on my 427"/Dart 18* high port head setup. and a guy with the same 427"/Dart 18* H/P heads in a twin turbo setup made 1200fwhp on pump gas with 1 7/8" primaries. the car has since gone on to get bigger turbo's and other mods, but uses the same headers yet and has gone 7.30's at 185mph in a full body car! so i'm just curious about why that size primaries are needed.

I have been told by the engine builder that the primaries need to be 2" but everyone has their own recipe. I don't know exactly what is "needed", I am just going by what I have been told. It might be that all I need is 1-7/8" primaries...406" SBC Nitrous motor with capabilities of 600HP shot of nitrous and spinning at approx. 8900RPM.

I used Cantons pan on my sbc. It was a 15* 427 and I built my own headers that were 2" to 2 1/8 step. The only problem was the kickout caused me to have to drop 6 & 8 tubes to drop the starter. The pan I used was a 13-108
