my freind has an old pos 1980 camaro and he says its a 305 bored out to a 350. From what i understood its impossible to bore a 305 to a 350. so is he full of **** or could it be possible?

hes full of ****.....the 305 block cannot be bored out to 4.00 inches. unless he put a stroker crank in it then its not a 350. i dont think any factoy crank and 305 block combo yeilds 350. im not sure exactly what the bore of a 305 is. i think its 3.8 somthing.

i know with a .030 over bore and a stroker crank it will displace 334.89 cubic inches, we did one in my buddys monte. runs pretty good for what it is. but i dont think its possible to get those numbers out of a 305.
