What's this worth? (BBC 454 block) So my buddy trades me a 4 bolt, 454 block (and rods and stock pistons, but uninstalled) for a autographed John Lingenfelter poster (I had 2).
It's a 90-91, short deck, 4 bolt main w/ a 1 piece rear seal. I have the caps, and the rods w/ the pistons on em (those are all in a bag). It's a standard bore. Block casting # - 10069286 . It has the provision for a mechanical fuel pump, but when I looked inside all I see is the drainback hole. Can these be machined out or whatever to work w/ a mechanical pump? reason I ask is from what I've heard boat guys like the 1 piece rear as long as it can have a mechanical fuel pump...thoughts on this are appreciated alsdo.
