Default best online site/forum for BBC/SBC ?

just for the folks that want to learn about what is new and not so new for the BBC/SBC combos? i am interested in learning what kind of motor can be built that is decently streetable yet strong enough to hand large power.

camaros.net is a pretty good first gen site. they have a performance section and an engine section. they also have a brother site called chevelles.com with the same kind of discussion. also you can check out godragracing.com. theres some very knowlegeable people ther that will spec out a particular combo for you given your information. hope you find some interesting reading...Brandon

I've gained a lot of knowledge from Chevelles.com. Since a lot of those cars were BBC (and that's what I'm going with), I've found their posts on that site invaluable. Another really good resource with some dyno #'s is http://enginecombination.com. Those guys post up proven numbers.

I'll third Chevelles.com . I'm an active member there, and everyone is willing to help, and most of them know a great deal of what they are talking about. Also it doesn't matter what kind of car you have. Helped me a lot with my Chevelle and the BBC that I put into it.
