So there's a 'vtec' for SBCs now...

Well sorta there is vtec for SBCs. Its variable valve actuation for the pushrod engine. Its a rocker thing that changes the rocker ratio by moving the fulcrom so therefore creating more lift. Its pretty cool, just wonder if it would hold power? either way its cool none the less.

I was the One and Only Original Guinea Pig for the Hot Rocker on the LS1 in conjuction with Sean Freese of MMT. In theory it is a sound product that produces various hp and tq levels at four different rocker ratios. Like said above it's like 4 different cams with 4 different lifts but the same duration. The LS1 prototype required the shafts to sit on the outside top of the valve covers, which in turn required my coil packs to be relocated. I have the before/after dyno sheet as well as some install pics somewhere, if I can find them, I will post them up.
