I know that they're listed as the replacement for all LT1 and LT4 engines

K, i was wondering, the stock 87-98 lifter have the issue of spinning on a cam with lift excess of 530 lift sometimes, this is something i do not wanna have to worry about.

I have not heard of an issue of spinning on the cam. That would mean the OEM dogbones and spider failed, or the square portion of the lifter became a circle. Either way I don't see that happening. The only worry I've ever heard of with the OEM roller is that the can fail under high lift and spill their guts all over the inside of your motor.

Well, with a higher lift cam the base circle is what is said to be lower to the point of the lifter dropping too far.
