Default TPI to LT1 intake... now smokes :(

ok so basically i just replaced my tpi intake system w/ a lt1 intake manifold that i have been modifyin for a few weeks now, got the bolt holes right, dizzy hole where it goes, blocked off the egr valve and the other little one and drilled holes for water.

Now car runs like a champ and pulls hard BUT at rpms of over 4k it smokes quite alot. that had never happened w/ the tpi before and its drivin me insane cuz i cant figure it out.

my setup is a 350 block flat tops, mild cam ported 64cc heads 1.6 R.A. lt1 injectors, 44psi of fuel pressure and walbro 255lph fuel pump

i have already replaced the intake gaskets twice thinkin that was the problem, second time i made sure everythin was perfect and used alot of sylicone.

what could be wrong??

Black smoke or blue? If its black maybe your tune is way rich.

i also thought it could have been that i plugged a vacum hose into the wrong nipple or something so it was suckin in oil but then i got rid of all the unessesary vacum plugs so the only ones i'm using are one for the brake booster and one for the AFPR.
