we will let him tell the story
we had alot of breakage. i got to test my newly installed 5.3 out. i said i was going to take it easy.............................well i did the first 15 minutes. then i let the hammering commence! the motor performed flawlessly.......except i only had the rev limiter set at 6300
i ended up breaking two rancho 9000 shocks.
one 3/4" grade 8 bolt (snapped in two pieces).
bent my hydraulic steering cylinder
more body damage
and a small case of whiplash
we also had 2 hubs bust, one 42" tire slashed. one other rigs.
it was a day of carnage for sure

Oh this happened!! Let me tell you, leaning over in a buggy with 40 in. tire's far enough to the passenger side so I can touch the ground while in a 5 point harness IS NOT MUCH FUN to me! No door bars or anything. Undo the harness and I am on the ground! The trail riding and hill climbing was a blast, just not much on the rock climbing aspect of things! The new motor performed flawlessly. Oh tree's don't like to move out of the way either! They just kinda stay in one place, don't they Greg!LOL! Overall, I had a good time, and seen some climbing abilitie's out of these buggie's that was just amazing!

ive been doing this for 10 yrs. you do not need door bars. you have hip protection by the body itself. the upper part you can move. just keep your shoulder harness loose enough to move and your lap belt reeeeal tight
