Yea, I've been leaning towards APF since I've never heard anything bad about them or thief tuner.

He is the only guy I have ever seen that holds a grudge for years. Frankly, if ya listen to him you are scraping the very bottom of the dumpster.
Both APF and Vengance are well thought of in the speed community and both good sponsors on here.

Vengeance has been successfully tuning the LSx for a long time in Georgia. I highly recommend taking a look at their references for tuning amongst other very credible abilities. I hear APF is relatively new to tuning but very familiar with the LSx platform. There's another option in Spartan Performance too. Make some calls and see who answers your questions best.

As for tune only purchases, I would give either Vengeance or ATLPF a call. We are no longer tuning setups that aren't ours. If you need anything built or installed, then I'm another option of the 3 
Beware of MTI, they will lock your PCM and delete the ability to make any future changes without paying them to do it. Just an FYI.
