So it looks like i'll be attending KSU in the coming fall.

How's the local car scene?

If you're up near the Barret PKWY area the car scene used to be HUGE up there. I haven't been up there in a few years but there was usually daily car meets, and daily street racing going on around there. I can't say how it is in 2009, but I know there's still tons of cars up there.

The scene is pretty good. Not like it used to be , but still good. Every friday and saturday night, there is a big group of people that hang out at the starbucks off of Barret pkwy.Probably 40-60 people.

I'm not too much into the racing stuff myself. I enjoy a few runs here and there, but were I live there aren't a ridiculous amount of quick cars like i'm sure there is up up there. I'm lid only here, but it shall be fun. I just like hanging out with people who like cars (lsx stuff) as much as I do. Drinking beer and putting **** together is the most fun for me.

Yeah, Barrett pkwy is crazy sometimes... Lots of imports... Hwy 575 and Hwy 75 both connect to Barrett within a mile and a half of each other. Every now and again me and a couple of friends cruise it...
