I'm hoping to have it 100% for cruisin the coast. I thought I'd be tuned last week, now it won't be until next weekend. I got most of the interior back in and when I get back from the Dominican Republic I'll finish the stereo. I think I'm having electrical issues, my ground seemed to be the problem initially. We addressed it the car cranked just fine, but since then I've had to jump the battery 2-3 times to start it. The battery is brand new, the car won't start right now unless I jump it. But the battery seems to have juice, I can use all of my acc's, the gauge cluster won't light and I don't have blinkers but my hazards work?

Yeah, I had to move out here to take up a promotion from my job as Project Manager. I was just a "supervisor" (mediocre title) in Houston. I may not end staying in Zachary but so far, it seems to be the safest town from the locals. I hate getting my crap broken into. But Zachary is by far the most boring town ive ever been.
What are some of the locations and what days? I've heard of this cars and coffee thing but thats all I know.
i have never been to the one in baton rouge. from what iv heard and seen, its mostly street racing. idk about the car show part. there is a fbody meet in houma September 19th
Idiots have been making car meets impossible, all good locations are no longer available so we're left with the little parking lot in front of ribs on siegan close to airline, Thursday nights but there's meets in other places as well my car isn't running again yet so not sure about any others
Well went to get the car tuned, but only 2-3 pulls could be made. Mike said he could hear detonation and that one side of the engine was not getting good fuel flow and concluded it was probably clogged injectors. He said the car made 400rwhp. So I towed it back to my potnah, ordered some new injectors, and will have my Aeromotive 340 along with the racetronix upgraded harness installed, oh and the fuel filter. I'm praying I can get this thing done for Cruisin the Coast! Any of you guys planning on heading out there?
I'm in Destrahan. About 20 minutes from Nola, and an hour from Baton Rouge. Also only about 35 minutes from Hammond. I love my location. And about 2 hours from Lafayette.
would have loved to come to the meet @Cajun but my car is still in the shop.
I can't speak for the other areas but I know that a lot of racing goes down on almanaster out towards New Orleans East. The East is good because not that many people have come back so groups can go out to the desert places and not have to worry as much about cops.
As far as meets go, I don't know that many but if you guys have any coming up or that are always happening please let me know.
PS, I'm a 5th gen, also have this RX7 ls2 being built if anyone wants to meet up for some runs soon.
