We decided to head out to BR this weekend instead. Oh well we are making plans to go next year. Cajun next weekend is the car show here in Houma down on St Charles St at the True Value.

As of yesterday afternoon they had 6800 registered cars. I think that may be a new record for them.

Been here all week

So many sweet rides out!

Yeah this year's registration numbers are a new record once again, it's more every year, and to think the first year had a grand total of about 300 cars registered.

I've been cruising everyday, the route is actually my daily commute to and from work. lol

If you see a dark green metallic t-top LT1 formula with a gold bird painted on the front bumper with gold feathers on the hood , it's me. I cannot wait to paint over it

After some convincing, my brother finally got me to take my firebird up there. I was the black formula sitting on torque thrusts near the maroon f-250 and purple-ish looking second gen camaro.

I've been planning on putting the car in the shop for awhile now because of a few problems with dents and whatnot but everyone seemed to love the car.

Lotta nice cars and trucks up there this year.

It was a good time. Traffic was very slow moving. I cruised a little bit Friday during the day and on a couple lunch breaks through out the week. I parked on the beach Saturday in my truck and saw some nice cars. Cops started their pulling people over and writing tickets for cars burning out like always. I saw a red Shelby gt 500 get a ticket. I did get 1 quick race in with a new 5.0 on Friday right across from the registration spot. I had him by at least a car and shut down. He seemed cool was asking what I had done and what I ran at the track.

I didn't race anybody. Just had a guy in a flat black trans am kit fifth gen rev at me after his gf told him to, so I did a 20-80 pull. He woulda waxed me, though. Lol.

I was actually disappointed that I didn't get to see any races. I think it was last year I watched a blue cobra race a crotch rocket. I may race my brothers lt1 next year for.

Awesome. I am hoping to go next year. Hopefully i will have at least a cam and tune done by then. I enjoyed my weekend in the Mall of Louisiana Looking for Baby clothes. WHAT FUN!!!! . But this sat is a local car show so that should be fun. If the baby doesnt come by then.
