Looking for a machine shop.
All I need is to have the block & head sealing surfaces cleaned and then my cam bearings installed.
Too many horror stories from local shops here in Charleston.

I use Simons for everything. Actually have a Dart LSnext block I need to go pick up from there ... I've never had head work though. I've only taken my heads to Jason at Performance CNC in Ladson. He's a great guy, but usually super busy, and for a while he wasn't taking walk-ins, not sure if he's slowed down. Speaking of that, Simon's has been slow since the Covid as well.
A lot of people use Don's as well. I've heard he's pretty good, but all his balancing he sends out to Simon's anyways.
