Hey Roy...
Best thing to do is to make some car shows. There is one in Gonzales every 3rd Saturday at Tanger outlet about 45 minutes from Metry. Quite a few people make that one. As far as organized meets I don't know of many but a few people I know get together once and a while and hit NPR for some track time. If you are interested in some local forums, PM me and I will give you the sites.
