cheap, decent hotel in Baton Rouge or New Orleans
Picking up a Suburban in Houston The end of the month (03/24), and want to stop for the night in either Baton Rouge or New Orleans.
Wif'es pregnant, so proximity to clubs and bars is of no importance. CHEAP and decent is!
Anyone?!?!

I don't know about the rates in those towns, but going down to New Orleans would be a little out of your way. But, IMO, will worth it, you can have a great time there, great food and entertainment, but just for an overnighter, stay on Interstate 10 somewhere. just my .02 worth

For cheap and decent, look for something at the I-12 Denham Springs exit (Denham Springs is a few miles east of Baton Rouge). Any of the I-12 exits in Baton Rouge will probably suffice also. If you want something a little nicer (and a little more expensive, around $100), check out the suite hotels at the I-10 College Dr. exit in Baton Rouge. What year Suburban are you going to pick up?

eh I went to Priceline, and for $53 including tax, got me a room at a pimp-*** Wyndham in Metairie.
it's a 1997, and beats the price of anything I could find around here. Damn Texas Cadillacs!
