GAFBA Fall Shootout
 

Just reminding everyone that GAFBA (Georgia F-Body Association) will be having our bi-annual shootout at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA on Sunday September 25th, 2005. Test and Tune lasts about an hour starting at 10am and then the eliminations begin. The track is great and it's always an awesome event to attend. I hope to be going. A bunch of us are going to the F-body gathering in Bowling Green the weekend before. Maybe we can get a caravan up like we did for the Spring Shootout! I'll definately be in the Vette if I go!

Are you going in the yellow or the black Maro? I saw you running the Black six speed last shoot out. I think you had just gotten it.

I may bring out the Grand Am for a run or two... that is if my dad tags along... if not I'll probably be rinding with Philipric

If all goes as planned, Ill bring the yellow one down. I just got it back together again so hopefully it stays that way for at least another month. :jest: Ive got a couple more things(LT's and phb) to do to it to get it ready but it should be good in time. As for the black car...my mom has pretty much fallen in love with driving the M6 so she drives it to work everyday. I guess Im back down to one Z28 again. :judge:

From the last time I ran it at the track, Ive deleted that AC, put in the gm847, and will have the LT's and maybe a panhard bar in by the shootout. Nothing too different but should give me a little more power than I was making. For some reason, I never run that great at the shootouts so Im planning on mid 12's with it but I guess we'll see.

What are you taking down there? Ill definatly look you up and feel free to look for me. It shouldnt be hard to find either of us with our cars the colors they are. :D

Us north-easterners are meeting up at the BP station on Pleasent Hill RD at 6:30am. That gives us ample time to get to the shootout by 9:00. Also, I believe we're meeting up with 4-5 people around the Kennesaw/Atlanta area.

I'm planning on going. Even though I dont know anyone any more in the GaFBA. :)

How many of the Northside people are going? Phillip? Patrick? Nick?

i am looking forward to going as well. i just put my nitto DRs' on yesterday and i haven't ran my car since i installed H/C and a few little goodies. hoping for mid 11s'! see you guys there
