Reputable shops w/ personal experience...
I'm thinking of switching my gears. Anybody here know any shop can do it w/ reasonable price and tune my car for the gear I'm switching to and well tune the rest of the car? I might go ahead tune the car for to have it run in optimum performance, so if you know someone or somebody's shop let me know. Of course this have to be in Little Rock area.

nice, will you have them in by the race day in march? the place i had my gears done was called dale's auto out in west little rock about a half mile away from the rave theater. they'll guaruntee no whine as long as they supply everything, that's where i fucked up (buying used gears). you'll prob be looking at somewhere around 700 for the complete job (parts, labor, and tax). are you dynoing next weekend?

I have a set of factory GM 3.42 gears for sale $50 and i have a buddy that installs them and tunes with HP tuners. You will need to get a with him and get the cost of the 2000 model USB cable and he will hook you up with all of it. If interested PM me and i'll get you in contact with him.
He is located in prescott and im in texarkana.

You sure you only want to go 3:42 on your gear. i sure am happy with 3:89 gear in my a4, running a 26" drag radial. Just don't take it out of overdrive til you have to. I think you would be much more pleased with at least the 3:73's. See ya soon
