Tranny Issue's!
 

I lost second gear today. I was thinking it was because of the new tire's but I was doing a little research in the automatic section and found out since I still have fourth gear and it is fine that it is probably the servo or 2nd gear something or another. I guess the 2nd gear band and 4th gear band are the same so if 4th is fine then it is something else.This would be great, if it is something simple! :drive:

That sucks. I hope you dont have the same luck that I have had with my trannys.

stuck solenoid maybe?

what does it do in manual 2nd...the same?

If in manual 2nd,it slip's the same. No change.Also if it is in OD just going through the gear's it dosn't shift into second until 4000 or so rpm.Once it shift's it will be ok as long as I don't give it alot of throttle then go's to 3rd and 4th. :drive:

sounds like 2nd is driving on the band but I dunno how all that stuff works so take that as a lucky guess if its right :)

hey bro i forgot i sold that tranny on ebay a few mths back.sucks i would have liked to check that car out. but if u still want to go the th350/400 direction i know alot of people that dragrace.so i can find u one that is already built and rady to go.lmk i cleaned out my inbox by the way.i'll make some calls tomorrow and see what i can put together.
