thanks guys. the event is located in Hattiesburg, MS. right off exit 69 on I-59.

rules on engine are pretty basic, any cube you want BUT it has to be based off the origional engine that the car came with. if it came with an lt1/ls1 it has to be a lt1/ls1 engine in it. it can be a 468" LSX motor in a 4th gen just no BBC's in 4th gens/mustangs

the Pro class is run what ya brung though

I have been wanting to go to that track.Everybody tells me its so much better than the Gulfport track, and that Id prob get a better time.

yea BUT its to keep most everyone in check..... other wise you would have 5 sec. bracket racecars trying to race in a street car oriented event

The race is for fun, but the rules keep everyone kinda in the same playing field. I know that the modified class allows for a wide range of cars, but we tried to keep it simple.

If the rule's are gay then stay home!!
There need's to be some type of classification at any event,regardless if there is a purse involved or not. Like they said it keep's everybody on a level playing field.

Well said sir. I want everyone to come and have a good time. There is going to be about 12 hrs of racing. So, there will be plenty of cars in anyones e.t. class to race against. There will be 14sec. cars to 8sec. cars. Everyone should have plenty to do. Thanks, Ken.

its much better then gulfport. best i could hit @ gulfport was a 12.9 @ 108mph. very first run @ hub city (and the best i ever got there) was a 12.2 @ 114mph. no new mods. just diff track and it was about 40 degree cooler.
