This car doesn't have its original drive train
Seller's smoking something really good if he's asking that much for a non-numbers matching car.

Maybe $150,000 in today's economy. 2 years ago at Barrett-Jackson it probably would have gone for more than $200,000. But unless it has race history that is significant or some type of GM test car, I can't see it bringing anything over $250,000.

haha, you're kidding, right? the majority of these were raced, stolen, returned to gm, or had their engines sold separately due to the fact that dealers couldn't move them with the astronomical $7,300 price tag.

btw... $525k isn't unheard of for one of these. one sold a while back for $840k. that's not a typo.

Agreed! $525k is actually a very good price if the car was built properly. I know an owner of one and fairly recently he rec'd a $1MM offer. Just a couple months ago another traded hands for more than $525k.

Car is worth that. It would be hard to find ANY ZL-1 with orginal drive train! Most if not all were raced from day one! My dad had # 13 of 69 it was cortez Silver and only showed 200 and some miles on it and thats just because they probably tore the Tranny out and never hooked the speedo back up.

i cant find the thread but one that exact color went for a million dollars last year. almost identical mileage too....but it was numbers matching. hmmm.
