Thoughts about WS6 17in Wheels (Speedline)
I am learning about the 17in WS6 wheels and would appriciate any help from the knowledgeable people on here.
Are all of these wheels made by Speedline?
Is the correct size 17x9?
Are they all the same for years 93-02? Or two different types, 98-02.
Thanks in advance!

The "Speedlines" are specifically the style used for most of the '01s (earliest '01s still received the '96-'00 style) and all of the '02s except for CETA (which received a black version of the '96-'00 style). A very similar version was also used on '95 Firehawk and Comp T/A.
There were no "WS6" 4th gens prior to 1996, so '93-'95 don't apply in this regard. Firehawk and Comp T/A were the only pre-'96 4th gen Firebirds to receive 17" wheels stock.
They are all 17x9".
Model Year 2000 also had a very rare wheel, RPO N66 3-spoke "swirly" type style, this was actually the standard wheel for that year but very few cars arrived at the dealers with it. Most continued to use the usual '96-'00 style - RPO QF6 (though it became an option in '00, with the N66 wheel becoming standard but rarely delivered).

How can I tell what year and what car they came from?
I believe they will have the word Speedline on the inside and a part number, but I am not sure.
Please find the attached picture and please let me know if you can tell me anything from the picture. Are these the correct center caps for an 01-02?
The owner said he will send me more pictures this weekend.

Those are the correct centercaps for these wheels, as issued on a WS6 car, but the Arrowhead was originally red in color, so these have either faded or the Arrowhead has been painted over.
Also there would have been black plastic lug caps over the factory open-ended lugs nuts. Those are missing in this picture.
Overall, this would be the correct factory wheel (and correct polished & clear coated finish) for an '01 (except for the first month or so of production) or non-CETA '02 WS6.

Hello, my 95 Firehawk has silver painted wheels that look very much like these wheels, but they say speedline on the front in between the spokes in raised lettering. Not sure how they did the later wheels, but would expect them to be stamped or lettered somewhere for sure.

Just did a search and came across some pics on eBay of some for sale, they have raised lettering on the back side of one of the spokes, it says Speedline GM USA.

Yes, this is because the '99s didn't use the Speedline wheels pictured above. The '99 also uses a different diameter and style of center cap.

I took a set of mint Speedlines off my 2002 WS6 & replaced them with chrome Firehawk wheels. Enjoying the chrome look for awhile. Besides, the Speedlines are still mounted on the stock Goodyears. 3984 miles as of 3/12/17.
