2000 Camaro SS good deal?

2000 Camaro SS good deal? Well my dad found his dream car at a local Chevrolet dealer. Its a GM certified red 2000 Camaro SS with only 1,700 miles. Not a single dust particle on the car at all. Its an A4 which he wants and has no mods which he wants. They want $22,990, is that a good price? It has the SLP options and all like wheels, suspension, exhaust etc. Got any good things for me to tell my dad to further convince him on buying it? thanks
BTW: My dad is some what reluctant b/c my formula is dicey on the road at all times but I assume the SS would handle much better and wouldnt be so outta control right?, my mom will be daily driving it so he's concerned

I just took a look at it and it has the berger mod done! It also has custom painted stripes that compliment the awesome lines in the stingray hood and custom painting that links the berger mod to the spoiler. Its absolutely stunning looking.
