Firehawk or not Hey every body i just bought a 2000 trans am. i saw on the internet that firehawk were still modified by SLP even in 2000. The person i bought it from state that my car is a WS-6 but he dont know anything about cars. I heard that only firehawk had headed seats. is this true? what are some charicteristics of the firehawk and the WS-6 edition so i can find out what i realy own....... thanks

the driver side door was crashed and its a new door so it has no stickers. Any other place that it would have any kind of sticker and yes it was it sould have been heated seats. so its not true that only firehawks came out with the heated seats. what SLP parts did the firehawk come with?
and the wheels? i believe the later haws rpo code was wu8. look for that. if you cant tell already, im thinkin its a ws6. im sure u would be able to tell with the wheels, their center caps, firehawk decals, hood, ect. trust me. rpo codes should be in glove box.
WU6 is the later 4th gen 'Firehawk' RPO code. But if the driver's door was replaced, then there's a good chance there's no decals on it.
Check the passenger door jam for an SLP tag that shows the added SLP options.
No 4th gen Firebird/Formula/TransAm/Firehawk came from the factory with heated seats.
Simply look at the front of the hoods above & determine what yours looks like.
WS6 or Firehawk. Hard to believe someone could buy one of these car, & not have a clue how to determine what it is. Sorry, don't mean to be harsh but, ...
The general Firehawk option included the hood, & silver wheels, & possibly some minor suspension changes. Then extra $ options were special suspensions like the Bilstein or 1LE, chrome wheels, mats, deck mat, spoilers, etc., etc., ...
