CHP puts those holes there because the siren/p.a. speakers are mounted directly behind. So the sound is clearer/louder.

Talking My B4C

I just bought this car yesterday. It was an Unmarked Traffic Unit in Jasper County South Carolina. Mu understanding is that the color itself is rare for 1998, possibly only 3 B4Cs that year had this color. Also the factory black top is supposedly unusual and it is not know how many of the green B4Cs had this combination.

I want to show it as a retired Police Unit, so other than new mufflers and some intake work, I plan to keep it pretty much stock.

There are more pics in my garage.

02 FHP B4C Camaro, just bought it and it has 117,360 miles on it. Use to be black and tan, but the tan part was painted over with a cheap black paint job.

According to the GM Vin Decoder, it is called Bright Green. The RPO for that is 31U. The RPO for Mystic Teal is 79U.

As for the B4C, here is the SPID:

I understand the color combination is rare, especially for a B4C. I have only had the car 3 weeks and it gets great compliments.

Cool. I don't think I've seen many of that color period. In any model.

Smile Updated photos

I got the windows tinted this morning. They look dark, but are the legal limit here in Florida. I think it helps set the vehicle off with that black roof.

Cool. Those are some good times in stock condition. My car went 13.1 in pretty much stock form. They make for some good cheap fun.

Talking History on my car.

I did some research this past week on my car. I found out that it was the personal take home car of the Sheriff at that time of the Jasper County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina.

I actually was able to talk to the person who outfitted the car and I am on my way to outfitting it the way it originally was so I can show it. Unfortunately that Sheriff has since passed away, but I am excited about putting this car back the way it was. I have a couple of shows coming up in August and in October so I need to get moving..

Once I get it all set up, I will post pics in my garage and here.
