Hugger Orange SS Vert White/white..confused
Hello,
I am sort of confused here....It was my understanding that there were only two 99 convertible SS with a white top and white interior auto, and one 6 speed. Well there is currently three autos for sale....Here are the links and let the discussion begin! Consider it free advertising and some one may want to check the build sheet or at least we know there are three!!!!!!

The only thing that I had known when I bought mine was that it was 1 of 18 with the white/white combo in hugger orange with SS trim. Never heard how many were auto's and how many were manual. One out there with lower miles than mine. Most of the ones I have seen have over 30 or 40K on them.

Please see the link below on 1999 SS production numbers
There were 61 HOSS verts in 99 of which
- 26 were autos
- 35 were MN6 cars
Doesn't break down interior or top color combo
http://www.frontiernet.net/~face440/1999CamaroSS.pdf
I know where 2 HOSS 6 speed white/white verts are within the southern states.

I have a 99 Hugger Orange Z28 vert., black top, charcoal leather interior, automatic and was very curious to find more build info on these cars. Please post up if anyone finds anything.
I am really curious because I know they are rare, and there is a scene in the movie Fight Club where Brad Pitt steals a Hugger Orange Vert with the 5 spoke factory chrome wheels from an airport. It looks exactly like my car and my car was titled in California for the first 4 years of its life (where I would assume the movie was made)
I always wondered what the chances were that was my car!

'99 Hugger Orange with white leather interior, t-tops.
Not all Hugger Oranges had white leather. A lot fewer had white leather than the darker leather I know that for a fact.

Here's a flashback (finally dug these up and scanned them). These pics were taken in the spring of '99. The HO and two red SS 'verts were '99s, the NBM was the '98 that I had looked at and made an offer on in 7/98, but the salesman was trying to "strong-arm" me on my trade-in ('94 Z28 'vert M6) and I turned it down. Note the reduced price in the window. The HO and one of the red SSs was a M6, the other red SS was a A4. There was also a black '99 SS 'vert on the lot that day that I did not take a picture of, I believe it was a M6 also. These were at Kelly Cheverolet on E. State, Ft Wayne (next to NSHS). Considering how hard it was to find ONE new '98 LS1 f-bod (t-top OR 'vert) on a lot ANYWHERE, this was a welcomed sight to see.
