Well first of all what does he want for it? I'm sure you're aware a HOSS is rare and will command a little more than another color.

If it is completely stock and in perfect condition with 13K miles on it, I'd say it is worth $17-18K tops. Once you get past around 5K miles, the "collector" pricing drops quickly. It is now a collectible/desirable car, but most "collectors" are only interested in ultra low mileage cars. Don't overpay for it, it is just a color. They built 375 of them, so they aren't ultra rare.

I will go out a limb here and say right now is probably the best time to sell a Hugger orange Camaro. For some reason i can see the 2010 Camaro; Hugger Orange as the most common color. People love that color(including myself)but there will come a point soon when instead of buying the rare 99', they'd rather get a 2010 New HOSS. Basically, if he's actually wanting to sell it, now would be a good time and still get what the car deserves and if you wait, you could "possibly get a better deal".
