Jeanie i just ordered a VFN Firebird Sloped 5" hood this morning and i did not know about this .. you charged me 540 $ is that with or without this deal? please let me know.

The cowl is taller on the Wide version.
The wide version was based on the scoop we used on our extended hood - after we released it, we had a lot of interest in making the same scoop available on a bolt on hood - which is what we did
The height on the Wide is 4 1/2" at the front and 3" at the back, however...because of the slant of your fenders and windshield, once the hood is on the car...it does make the height 6" at the front, and of course tapers back down to about 3 1/2" so that you can see around it.
The Original Sunoco hoods are a little skinner and are only 3" in height, these do not taper back down towards the back since there are no visibility issues with a 3" hood.

Thanks Jeanie. So it would be the regular version for me as I don't want the higher cowl. I will have to doublecheck my finances and see what I can do. I am getting LASEK tomorrow so that has taken from my car fund for the moment. 
But that price is really good! So I will have to see what I can work out.

Jeanie I need 10 3.25 ARP wheel studs and a few various NX Nitrous jets any chance you guys sell these items. There not listed on your website buy I believe you guys are dealers for both companies I listed.
Then I can get 5% off my Sunoco hood I will be ordering during this sale!!!
Unfortunately I was sold a FAKE sunoco hood(I didn't know it was fake at the time of purchase) by a local guy and I will be using the funds to purchase a genuine correct fitting high quality VFN sunoco hood!

We actually just finished up a mold for a bolt on version...and was finishing up taking dimensions. We did a test fit and it looks and fits great on the car
I am attaching some pics of the new hood.
We have this one in stock and ready to ship...the price with the gp discount would be $505.00

I'm not sure if we will do a 3" version of this hood, but I will pass the request along...but we do have another design in the works for the Firebirds as well - I can't give much away, but it is something completely different then what is out there now.
