Group Purchase on Aster Bracket for ProCharger '98-'02 F Body

http://shop.brutespeed.com/media/Bracket-assembled.jpg

$50.00 off our normal prices for this group purchase, that brings the price down to $665.00 shipped! We need 8 people to place orders to get in at this price. Eight orders will enable some of the parts cost to come down so that this group purchase can happen.

The Aster Auto Spring loaded tensioner is able to automatically adjust as the belt stretches during increased engine RPM. This accomplishes three major benefits over a manual tensioner.

1. Static tension can be lower as you only need to keep the belt taught in its current state.
2. Belt stretching is of little concern as the tensioner will move to maintain tension.
3. The spring in the unit acts as a shock absorber for vibration in the belt reducing stress on the bracket system and alleviating rattle and noise.

*The Aster Bracket utilizes a GM LS1 F Body main drive belt tensioner, making a replacement easy to find should you ever need to replace it. A standard 15mm wrench is all that is needed to adjust the tensioner, no special tools are required.

If you are planning on running 14 psi of boost or more, this is the bracket assembly for you! The Aster bracket works with the ProCharger P-1SC, D-1SC, F-1, F-1A, F-1C and F-1R.

I was already talking to Aster about buying one, and he was waiting for more orders to send a batch to the machinist... So, in short, count me in. :)

I'm in. Bob I'll give you a call tomorrow. Any chance you can cut us a break on the 05 vette waterpump with the pully pulled out the necessary ammount?

Thanks. As far as the water pump pricing goes, I'd give you a discount if I could. No money is being made on these pumps. Bob

Well the hell with it...I ordered it this afternoon lol. Bob what is the length of the standoffs? I'm doing some custom bracket mounting ideas and want to make sure I don't need to change anything.

Thanks for the order! I'll get back to you on the length of the standoffs. Bob

I placed these on Ebay this morning to try to get all of them sold for this group purchase. I'll be losing money on them with Ebay if they sell on there, but it will help to get the ones already sold to the people on here who are waiting on their Aster brackets.

If you are on the fence about ordering one, please do so now, you won't regret it!

Thanks! Bob

Customer list added to first post. Bob

I'm going kind of backwards with getting parts, but add me to the list for the bracket and a water pump.

Should I go on the site and order or should I just call?

What do I put in the field for the group buy info?

You can place your order right off the website, which makes it easier for us to make sure we get your info correct, but either way will work. Thanks! Bob

Worth it?

Would it be worth switching from the SDCE 8 rib setup to the Aster? What would the benefits be?

Angel

I'm sorry Angel, I didn't see this post sooner to. If you already have an SDCE bracket, then I'd keep it. The SDCE bracket has powered f body's into the 8's in the 1/4, so it is a proven design. The SDCE bracket uses a smaller 7.25 crank pulley while the Aster bracket uses the standard ProCharger 7.65 crank pulley. The larger the crank pulley, the faster the blower will spin with any given blower pulley, which gives the system better belt wrap. SDCE requires that you send them your J Bracket to modify, while the Aster bracket is a totally new design. Thanks for inquiring! Bob
