After doing all that work to get the new engine mounts to work and since if i were to run my old mounts and lts id have to redo my trans mount because my old mounts set the engine up a solid inch higher, so i decided to get a set myself. Itll take me redoing the front half of my exhaust but everything else should be set so why not. Even though i still plan on going turbo in the future.

Stock control arms will need to be trimmed for proper fitment. There just isn't enough room in the bay for tubes that size and everything else.
Sounds like a lot of you already have tubular A arms so this ought to work out nicely.

The order for the headers was just released to the shop.
Based on the bender's cycle and current lead times, we ought to have headers to you before the end of May. I know its a wait but these things are gorgeous.
I will be contacting everyone in the next two weeks or so to confirm payment methods and any add ons (like V bands).

"They were built by cutting them up from some other application..........and they fit like crap"?
From your PM before I paid for the headers.
"Some background on them, I bought them off a fellow lsx swapper that had them on his 01 s10. Hes the one that made the mounts using fbody engine mounts and fabricated frame mounts, he made the headers himself using a kit. I bought the headers and mounts off him when he went a different route after 5 years. I used them for 2 years. I had to modify the mounts to move the engine back a half inch to get the engine where I wanted but his original holes are still there. With this the headers just barely kissed the heatshields on the firewall footwell area but didnt effect anything and i never had a problem with them. Ill find some pics of them installed and add them to my for sale thread."

Which version is correct?
Thanks

I wish. I have to pull the engine and trans to modify my crossmember notch since Im not happy with the new one I made for the new mounts. Its only about a 1/8" clearance from the bottom of my oilpan. Swapping out the a/c heater box for a heat only box while waiting on the CircleD tq converter to arrive on thursday then I can toss that in and reinstall the engine and trans, Run lines for the trans cooler remove the seats and carpet to install the gear shifter and shifter cable to the trans, remove the clutch pedal, throw down lizard skin insulation on the cab floor and reinstall the interior. Then its just reinstalling the engine harness and other various components redoing the front half of my exhaust to meet up with the new headers then hopefully itll be back up and running. By the middle of May is my goal to have it running
