My post was not to insinuate that you weren't disabled. My post was just to say that expecting any vendor in any industry to honor a price that's a year old, is unrealistic. And using the "disabled" card to try to guilt them into honoring it, is lame...

They are a business, not a charity. Your first post was #566 on page 29 of a group buy thread they have continually run for site members and is filled with positive feedback. That gives them credibility and benefit of the doubt when attacked so viciously by an individual poster that seems to want special treatment. Prices go up, that's a fact of life. You did not have an agreement with them you had a quote which is their discretion to honor or not honor 1 year in the future. It doesn't make them dishonest or bad people but business conditions no longer deem that a valid rate.
I would have the moderator move this to the sponsor feedback section as it doesn't seem to be relevant to this group thread.

I thought she might be a real woman and come on here and reply,"andie,we understand your handicap and different situation you are in from everyone else and we will be "happy" to work something out from you".she's not gonna do the "right thing" cause they're more concerned over the almighty dollar and if they know they give me the promised price they would have to do everyone else the same.None of the rest of you all memebers don't have a problem if i get the hood $70 cheaper cause i don't have the money or it will be a long time before i get the money? Does anyone?
At this point in time, it's not even about money - it's about someone who wants to bully us (name calling, threats, etc...)- and we're simply not having it.
Any quotes provided to you - yesterday or almost a year ago - are now void.
Take your business elsewhere.

Hi Guys.
First, wanted to thank you for your continued support - have made our hoods more popular then we could've ever imagined - and we thank you for that
Because of our rising costs, we will be forced to raise the pricing on some of our hoods. We'll keep it minimal - $20 - help offset some, while not breaking the bank for our customers.
Now, for the rest of the world, this increase is effective as of today. However, for our Tech guys - we wanted to give notice, and a chance to get in before the increase - should you wish.
Because of that, I will hold off on increasing the GP discounted prices until Sept. 12th.
We will still offer our great discounts here for members - we enjoy giving back to those who support us - but will then reflect that additional $20.
During this transition, we will have to raise our production times on these items to 3-4 weeks - accommodate the additional orders we may see during this time.
But, it gets you in prior - saving you even more.
Any questions, please let me know

Hey Jeanie! I have been VERY pleased with how well customer service has been with the emails I have exchanged with you to get answers to questions I had. I have been a member on here for a long time and had no idea this thread even existed until you mentioned it in the email I received earlier! I will be placing an order for an extended sunoco hood tomorrow morning. Thanks again Jean who knows maybe I'll talk to you tomorrow!
