Default What's up with TEA?

I saw a post about them not being a sponsor and people complaining about them not answering emails or phone calls. Are they still in business?
I hope they are but you know this is how it started with MMS,ARE, and that FUCKTARD JPR.

they are still up and running strong as ever, Brian Tooley is out of the office for a couple of weeks so they are a bit short staffed at the moment.

TEA is still in business. They are shipping me two sets of AFR Stage 3 heads this week. Havn't had any problems getting in contact with them either via phone.

Last I heard Brian was having his tonsals removed, so he was going to be out for a week or so. They should be nearing completion on my Stage 2.5 AFR's also.

Phone is, and always has been best way to contact them. Even that is hard at times b/c Brian is on the phone all day... Its better now that Brian H is there though. Makes it a little easier...

Email is another story though...

But yea... running as strong as ever. I was up there a few weeks ago...

Not to change the subject but I just visited the website and didn't knowe they had their AFR heads out yet. Whats the difference between the 2's, 2.5's & 3's ? Do they keep the 205cc port? Those flow numbers look very impressive.

For the flow numbers listed, they only offer a 2.5 and a 3. The 2.5 is the same port as the 3, it was just shrunk .030 to fit a 2.05 valve for stock bore motors. The 3's are for bigger bore motors only. These are TEA's "Judson" heads. The 2.5's spec out around 228cc's and the 3's are around 238cc's. Flow for the 2.5's is just a bit lower than the 3's, but still highly impressive.

No answer when I tried to call and left a message.

What would be the down side of using these for a MAX effort 346ci. I may hav ethe intention of doing a bigger shortblock in a year or two and could use these on the new motor.

238s would be too much IMO. For a big bore, or big cube motor either would work awesome. Their Stage 3 head is a race head for the most part, although they still work well on street/strip cars. Leave a message, and someone, probably Brian will call you when he gets back in the shop. That or keep callling until you get somone.

Yeah, I guess I will try to keep calling. I basically don't know if I can stop the modding after H/C and just want to get them as a just in case I go with a 408, 414 or whatever. Ever since the new LS2 block came out, I've been doing some thinking about what I could do in the future. If I don't get in touch with them I will just go with the straight 225 AFRs. Thanks guys.

From what I read in another thread, Nine Ball never received their check. Thus no sponsorship renewal.
