Default Sponsors, which of you sell the Katech rod bolts?

Need a set of Katech rod bolts for a 2000 LS1 motor. Just wondering who sells them and can give me the best price. Thanks.

Well I dont want to install the new cam and goodies without upgrading the rod bolts. Im pretty set on the Katech ones, but cant find any sponsors who sells them. I've went down the row of sponsors checking almost all their websites in search of them, but not a single one came up with them. Thats why I made this thread so that maybe one or more sponsors would come forward to say they carry/sell them.

Has anyone tried these out?

Sponsors, what are your inputs on the Katech rod bolts?

I would really like to try these out and post up some info if possible. If anyone knows where I can get them, please let me know. Thanks.

I was hoping one of the sponsors carried them.

Call Katech directly they will sell them to you. When I upgraded my bolts I wanted to go with Katech but they were out of stock so I went with arp's.

Checked out Katech's website and they're $140. I thought I read somewhere here on the board that they were around $120. If I can find sponsors that sell Katech products, then they should be able to get me the rod bolts at a cheaper price. Usually if they sell their products, they are a dealer for them.

Any sponsors out there sell Katech products?

Well someone from the internal section said that TS&P can get them and I also came across a thread in a search that TPIS sells them as well. I know TS&P posts here quite often, I wonder why they havent responded.

It looks like only three sponsors have any Katech products listed on their websites:

Well Texas Speed & Performance I hear can get them, but I will have to pay taxes on them. SPDC is also in Texas, so there again I will have taxes. TPIS and Futural are the only 2 that I wont have taxes on, but neither sites I saw Katech products on. I do appreciate you taking the time to check the sites out and letting me know who carries Katech products.

Well, I called Thunder, TPIS, and Katech. All of them sell the rod bolts for the same price. I figured since TPIS and Thunder were dealers that they could offer slighty better prices for the consumer. There is no discount for the dealers. I was pretty shocked at this. Katech says that they priced them right and that there is hardly any mark-up on them. Well the ARPs are much cheaper ($89), so I dont see how theyre priced right. ($140) The Katechs are suppose to be the same weight and length and require no resizing. $50 is a pretty good jump between the 2 even though there is hardly any difference.

I'm sure if none of the other sponsors get discounts, I highly doubt TS&P would.
