We here at RPM Transmissions would like to introduce ourselves to the LS1tech community.

First off a little history about RPM Transmissions. Our owner has been building transmissions for over 20 years, owning his own general transmission repair shop for over 10 years. In 2004 he decided to focus on GM transmissions exclusively. The early years of RPM Transmissions was focused on T56 transmission repair and upgrades, then gravitated into 4L60e, 4L80e transmission performance then to C5 and C6 differentials. Now we are working on complete drivetrain packages for the 2010/2011 Camaro. We strive to be on the cutting edge of all things GM drivetrain related.

If you have been around the LSX performance community very long you have probably seen or heard of all the current records held by LSx cars using our transmissions and complete drivetrain packages. Our drivetrain packages have been in the last 2 worlds fastest IRS corvettes. Mark Carlyle the current record holder with an 8.15@173 in his 07 Z06 and Keith Berry the previous record holder with an 8.22@168 in his 01 Z06. We also have the record for the worlds fastest GTO owned by Travis Wester with an 8.95@154. The worlds fastest 6 speed Corvette owned by Kyle Surgent is running one of our TR6060 conversions. We are even approaching the bone stock LS7 engine record (ET: 9.34) with our Procharged shop Z06 that ran a 9.48@145mph saturday with our Level 7 4L60e coversion package.
We have been striving to innovate new and competitive products for the 4L60e, T56 and TR6060 transmissions for all GM, Ford and Mopar applications. Our newest addition to the RPM lineup is our new TRUE Bolt-in T56 Magnum. It retains all the t-arm mounting points, shifter location and transmissions crossmember. All our bolt-in T56 Magnums come with a Spicer 31 spline 1350 yolk as well. Check out our new product post for more info.
